I know of people who move away from where they stayed because they are trying to stop the horrible habit of smoking. Although a few of them failed, I am actually impressed by the amount of successes that were recorded at that. Yes, lots of people succeed everyday to stop smoking. It makes me know that a change of environment is healthy for someone trying to quit smoking. Who knows? It might be.
Smoking can speed up your heartbeat because of the nicotine in the tobacco, but it could also cause your heartbeat to be irregular; not a good thing at all, if you ask me. When you are addicted, you are used to that irregularity even though it is killing you. Find a substitute that stops the irregularity if you are trying to stop smoking, and so that fast enough so that you don’t live with it for much longer.
Some people chew on nicotine gum to help them stop their nasty and harmful smoking habit. If you are one of such people, it is good that you are no longer inhaling all that smoke at this time, but you are still poisoning your body by the presence of nicotine. My friend would say, flee all appearance of evil, and I think that is apt advice for you when trying to stop smoking.
The irritability and the headaches will likely come shortly after you decide that you want to quit smoking. They are withdrawal symptoms from the nicotine in the cigarettes. However, with some aspirin you can beat the headaches, and with some activity you can beat the irritation. It is tough going, but you can beat the addiction. But of course – seek your doctor’s advice on the best way to deal with these withdrawal symptoms.
